Finally, Smaug agreed to fly them to Mordor and drop them off at a place Gollum had seen in his Rascal-visions. Are Wet Change actually about to destroy the One Ring? Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change is finally meeting with Smaug! The dragon recognized Adam and the dwarf became too terrified to talk. GanDelf tried to speak, but Smaug found her untrustworthy. Guy showed the dragon the proper deference, and began negotiations, but Tyler had to step in once Smaug wanted promises made regarding the future. Forced to be honest, Tyler tried to explain that they were in a story, but Smaug was too egotistical to believe him. Having spotted Smaug’s missing scale, can Wet Change convince him to join their cause? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. Wet Change has collected two souls and they’re trying to snag their third! Del, drunk on magic, discovered she could see a literal spell called “Can-Trip.” When the others returned to her and Binky, Del refused to kill Can-Trip despite a supernatural urge to do so, and a stormcloud spun up on the horizon. Fleeing the storm, everyone hoped they wouldn’t be stuck in skeleton form, and Del found herself still holding Death’s scythe. Wet Change just collected their second soul! Del stayed on the roof of a nearby building with Death’s horse, Binky, while the rest of Wet Change went into a bank that was being robbed. Guy discovered that no one could see them before he was accidentally set on fire, Adam tried to save Guy with a potion before getting shot with an arrow, and Tyler was shocked to see both of his friends turn skeletal and talk in different voices before he also became Death…and killed Jimmy McTatoes with an arrow. Wet Change is working as Death’s Assistants and they’ve already claimed their first soul! Guy was determined not to get caught up in the drama of a witch’s love triangle and just did his assigned task. Del overdosed on magic while waiting outside with Death’s horse. While trying to help Del sober up, Tyler spilled a potion on his foot and it turned into a lizard foot, before Adam spilled more potions on Tyler’s foot until it returned to normal…though Tyler did grow a lizard tail). Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change took on a job as Death’s Assistants to help Death focus on his chess game! Guy was forced to describe the group’s talents to earn the job and ended up being the official scythe carrier for Death. Tyler helped Del handle the heights required to ride Binky, Death’s flying horse. Adam reminded the rest of the group they aren’t killing their targets, just collecting them. And Del, with double nat 1’s, led the group to a window just in time for a person to be thrown out of it into them all. Can Wet Change successfully collect 3 souls for Death and gain a new ally? Guy slept for four hours before he woke up and discovered the magical chest follows him anywhere he goes. Tyler Hewitt has been named the king of Gondor and Denethor is dead! After successfully smashing Bremblo on a table until he died, Tyler was named King of Gondor and took Faramir captive! Guy was revived and smoked Tyler’s pipe hoping to sleep but it made him more energetic, Adam tried the pipe as well and liked it, and GanDelf smoked both her own pipe and Tyler’s in a comparative taste test between the two. Combat has begun and Wet Change is already in serious trouble! Wet Change is performing at a potential Red Wedding! GanDelf hid in the crowd, leaving Yolo to perform as “Fomo the Wizard” and throwing magic at him. And Adam and Tyler performed a two-man version of The Three Stooges that was so good half the crowd put their weapons on the floor! But when Guy saw balcony dwarves rising menacingly from their seats, and found himself being threatened by Blemblo, he tried to set the dwarf on fire with his torch! Upon returning from Narnia, Wet Change discovered that Yolo had committed them to performing at a wedding and they had to get to the stage at once! Grabbing costume pieces from the Narnia wardrobe, and realizing they could be walking into something like George Saur-Ron Martin’s “Red Wedding,” Guy decided to hide in the curtains to watch the crowd, Del planned to become GanDelf once more and force Yolo to perform in her place, and Tyler and Adam would adapt several “Three Stooges” sketches for just two performers. Welcome back to Jesters of Middle-earth, where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. GanDelf awoke on the Witch Witch’s chariot to the chaos of battle and threats from Jadis’s servant. She took a chance and called to Jadis about traitors in their midst, but the gambit failed and the White Witch petrified her instead. Meanwhile, the boys tried to strategize a plan of attack as they charged into battle. Aslan told them of the White Witch’s powers and the monsters under her command, Guy headed to the back to shoot arrows with Susan, Adam rode into the fray atop a rhino, and Tyler raced atop Aslan towards a petrified GanDelf. Wet Change prepared to join the battle already underway. Guy convinced Lucy to stay away from the battle, promising to use her cordial to heal the wounded. Tyler, seeing Susan inspiring the animals to fight, asked her to speak to them later about the war in Middle-earth, and convinced her that he would look out for her brothers on the front lines if she remained safely with the archers in the back. Adam then tucked Tiffany Problem into his beard, and they all mounted up on various animals to ride into battle. While Del rested in the company of the White Witch, the magic of Narnia caused her to revert back into GanDelf. The boys, meanwhile, attempted to ingratiate themselves to a few animals in the hopes that they would spread the word and recruit others to help win the war in Middle-earth. Adam had some success connecting with a very strange squirrel, but Tyler found himself struggling as he joined in on Lucy’s prank and upset a horse, got on the wrong side of Aslan’s annoying brother, and had an awkward encounter with a zebra. Off on her own quest, Del played into the White Witch’s ego and convinced her to fight with them in Middle-earth. The witch was flattered and intrigued at the prospect of looting another realm then returning to Narnia to rule it. Over at the castle, Guy grew uncomfortable as Mr. Tumnus became enamoured with him, so he ran away toward the Wardrobe to guard the entrance back to Middle-earth. Aslan agreed to help them in Middle-earth, but he wouldn’t speak for anyone else in Narnia, so it was up to Adam and Tyler to speak with the animals. Far from the boys, GanDelf, having exhausted her magic, was released from her bout of madness and returned to her old Del self. She found herself at the feet of Jadis, the White Witch, but luckily she knew the books well and placated the witch by catering to her narcissism. Meanwhile, Guy and Tyler convinced Adam to drink a drop of the cordial, and he was immediately freed from his shadow-induced greed. After a tense meeting with Lucy’s sister, Susan, they met the lion Aslan, who began to wake up everyone who had been turned to stone. Tyler, Guy, and GanDelf leapt into the wardrobe and stepped into fresh air and a snowy landscape. GanDelf was struck with shadow madness and quickly wandered off on her own while Guy and Tyler found Adam and tried to recall what they knew about Narnia. The boys headed towards the sound of a lion’s roar, hoping it was Aslan, and came upon a castle surrounded by a variety of creatures frozen in place. They were soon met by Lucy, a young girl who immediately sensed the darkness in Adam and conspired with Guy to give him a drop of her magical cordial to cure whatever ailed him. The Fellowgroup followed Hibbett T. Jibbety through Minas Tirirth towards his rooms and the wardrobe. Along the way, Tony and Yolo voiced their concern about the darkness surrounding Adam and GanDelf, they all came up with scholar aliases, and Guy flirted so the others could sneak off to see the wardrobe. Once they regrouped in Jibbety’s room, Adam entered the wardrobe alone. He pushed his way through the coats, but as he tried to leave, he instead stepped onto fresh snow. Back outside, the others realized something was wrong and leapt in after him. Can Yolo be trusted to keep the wardrobe safe while Wet Change is stuck in Narnia? As the Fellowgroup tried to convince the scholar to grant them access to the wardrobe, they received more disturbing news. Denethea had arrived, though she had been strangely quiet, along with a dwarf delegation from Moria that included Blemblo, who was now a wizard and had been the one to broker peace with Mordor. Adam convinced the scholar to let him check the wardrobe for dangerous sproingy armour that the dwarves may have put there, the scholar agreed to vouch for them, and Tyler and Guy made amends with the tavern owner when they introduced the concept of tipping. Could these small wins spell a turning point for the Fellowgroup? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. At the gates of Minas Tirith, the guards didn’t believe that Tyler was the king, but they were impressed enough with GanDelf’s magic that they let them in anyways and the Fellowgroup entered a tavern that served as sort of border check. After leaving a less-than-stellar impression on the owner, they had better luck with a scholar, who was amazed by Tyler’s health card and recognized the sword from Rivendell that had been reforged. The scholar panicked as he realized that Denethor was a pretender king. Can the Fellowgroup talk their way into examining the strange wardrobe that had mysteriously appeared in the scholar’s room? The Fellowgroup had a restless night. Guy patched up Tony Dumdum, Adam tried to comfort Tony with mud pillows and nursery rhymes but it didn’t really help, GanDelf got even more frustrated and depressed over her failed pipe smoke shapes, and Tyler spent the night making sure his friends weren’t spiraling or getting lost. The next morning, they arrived at Minas Tirith and soon learned that Gondor had become a vassal state of Mordor, the war was evidently over, Denethea had returned, and her father had been crowned king. While Tyler, GanDelf, and Yolo conferred elsewhere, Adam, Guy, and Tony tried to finish off the orcs. Guy offered them safe passage if they surrendered, but the orcs didn’t believe him, so instead they clashed their weapons, the sparks set fire to the grease, and they burned up. The Fellowgroup took some time to rest and recover from their injuries, GanDelf got depressed and spiralled until Tyler talked her out of it, Yolo wondered if he could ever repair his friendship with Frodo, and Adam gained even more shadow when he shared his plan to retaliate against his daddy. The Fellowgroup fought a band of orcs that had escaped the battle at Helm’s Deep. Adam and Tony pushed boulders toward the orcs, but when they tried to barrel down the hill themselves, Adam slipped on GanDelf’s greasy ground. Guy then tried to slide down the hill on his shield while shooting arrows, but lost his aim and hit Adam. Tyler, meanwhile, went after Yolo, and spotted Frodo trying to sneak up on the ringbearer. The disturbed hobbit fled, and GanDelf joined them, leaving the others to handle the orcs. The Fellowgroup decided to take Sir Christopher Lee’s advice and head to Minas Tirith in search of the portals to the other fictional realms they sought. Adam and Tony scoot-raced down the tower, GanDelf and Yolo got drunk, and Guy tried and failed to get the Ents to carry them to Minas Tirith. The journey proved difficult and, not long after setting out, they ran into a group of orcs. Yolo tried to distract them, but fell in the mud, GanDelf used her magic to grease the ground and trip them up, Adam and Tony Dumdum shoved boulders toward them, and Guy readied his bow. Can the Fellowgroup defeat a band of orcs without the help of the Rohirrim or Ents? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. Sir Christopher Lee bestowed upon the Fellowgroup as much knowledge as he could before they set out once more. He told them the true story, of the hobbits sneaking into Mordor while Aragorn distracted Sauron with battle at his gate and an army of the dead, how Del’s moths had reached the realms of Terry Brooks, Terry Pratchett, and C. S. Lewis, how Smaug the dragon might be convinced to help them, and how the Sword of Shannara could show Martin the truth of what he was doing. Guy, Adam, and GanDelf collected the others, and Yolo helped GanDelf deal with another dead moth by giving a pep talk. But will pep talks carry them to Minas Tirith? While Tyler babysat Yolo and Tony Dumdum, Sir Christopher Lee imparted vital information to the rest of the Fellowgroup. George R. R. Martin had taken on the role of Sauron, not maliciously, but rather to explore other possible endings for the story. However, when he introduced some of his own creations, he had inadvertently opened a door into the real world. Wet Change tried to impact the story themselves by writing out a scene in which Martin was destroyed, but it didn’t work, they all gained a bunch of shadow for plotting a murder, and they decided to just proceed with the original quest. But can they find the very important Sword of Shannara? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. Tyler took Yolo and Tony Dumdum aside so the rest could have a frank conversation with Sir Christopher Lee and, after chatting for a bit, they realized they were all on the same side. Christopher Lee had extensive knowledge of the true story, but remembered the real-world slightly differently. Guy’s palantir seemed to wake up in the presence of another orb like it, and the famous actor told them that the dark lord had used the device to communicate with Saruman and twist the wizard to his will. Will the discovery that the dark lord is none other than George SauR-Ron Martin get the Fellowgroup any closer to defeating him? The Fellowgroup tied up loose ends before departing for Isengard. GanDelf was advised by Galadriel to try to cure Saruman of his shadow before resorting to fighting, Yolo showed emotional growth as he reflected on how he had treated Frodo, and Guy learned from Arwen that the palantirs were long-range communication devices. They travelled with the Ents to Isengard, and saw signs of heavy industry, but it seemed to be abandoned. When the approached the door of the tower, the wizard Saruman greeted them and revealed that he was Sir Christopher Lee. But will the famed actor be able to help the Fellowgroup restore the fractured story? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. The Fellowgroup let Frollum escape! Again! So, they split up to search for him. Now more shadowy than ever, Adam began to give in to his greedy impulses, GanDelf helped Guy find his missing sword and they uncovered a survivor in the rubble, and Tyler patiently explained to Yolo how wrong it was to call anyone who joined them the “New” version of someone they’d lost. Accepting they had lost Frollum, the headed to bed. Tyler grew less shadowy as he donated his mattress to the infirmary and Adam kept his shadow when he got weird about Tony sleeping in his chair. The Fellowgroup tried to come up with a way to reach the Frodo within Frollum. GanDelf failed to commune with her echo of Gandalf and had an unsettling vision of Walker. They all followed Adam’s suggestion to improvise a happy song, and miraculously, the group’s discordant singing brought Frodo back to himself. But it soon became clear that Frodo was still enamoured with the ring. As he slipped back into Gollum, Adam encourage GanDelf to flashbang him as punishment and they gained even more shadow. As they argued about their next move, Frollum escaped. Will they find the slippery hobbit again before he can do more harm? With a day to rest, the Fellowgroup tied up some loose ends. Guy and Arwen shared a pleasant intimate experience, Tyler saw a doctor and got his bleeding under control so he could start to heal, and Galadriel warned Adam that she saw the potential for darkness within him and had brought Tony Dumdum along to help keep it at bay. GanDelf, meanwhile, found Yolo, who asked her to speak with Frollum to see if Frodo could become himself again. As they waited for Tyler to arrive to speak with Frollum, GanDelf entered her mindscape to commune with the original Gandalf. But will she find a way to get through to Frodo? With the enemies of Rohan scattered into the trees and the Ents at rest for the day, the Fellowgroup was finally able to take somewhat of a break. While Guy and Arwen spent some private quality time together, Tyler was called upon to reassure everyone that everything was okay. GanDelf volunteered Adam to tag team the inspirational speech with Tyler, Yolo butted in with meaningless platitudes, and GanDelf capped it off, but the speech ultimately fell flat. Théoden came to the rescue and wrapped it up by preparing the Rohirrim to travel to Gondor to aide in their fight against evil. But can the Fellowgroup avoid being taken to Isengard first? The Fellowgroup had to figure out what to do about all the trees that had appeared, especially the one that had just torn an orc in half before their eyes. Guy tried to reason with the tree, Ent actually, called Treebeard, while Adam wisely removed Tony Dumdum from the conversation. Treebeard was eventually swayed by Guy’s impassioned speech, but then he revealed that he had been sent to aide the Fellowgroup and bring them back to Saruman, the wizard who had imprisoned the original Gandalf. While the Ents recuperated, Yolo reminded Tyler that they had left Frodo unconscious within Helm’s Deep. But will the twisted hobbit still be there? As Adam and Guy lay dying, Tyler, GanDelf, and Théoden fought the orcs trying to finish them off, but were interrupted by a loud boom and a dead orc flying into the room. They eventually stabilized their friends with Jimbo bread from Tony Dumdum the White, Guy took up Éowyn’s helm and accepted the duty to inspire everyone, and Théoden came to the realization that Gondor may indeed be fighting back against the dark lord. When they surveyed the battlefield, they saw that a forest had appeared around Helm’s Deep and the remaining enemies were being driven into it. Do these mysterious and violent trees truly signify victory for Rohan? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. As dawn broke, Galadriel, Tony Dumdum, and the elves of Rivendell arrived at Helm’s Deep to turn the tide of the battle, but the orcs still put up a fight. On the battlefield, GanDelf shattered the ground in the middle of some orcs, frightening them enough to run away as she and Tyler used the distraction to race back into the fortress. Inside, Adam and Guy had less luck and were struck down swiftly by a pair of orcs. Luckily, Théoden prevented the orcs from finishing the job until GanDelf and Tyler could arrive. Can the aged king, the false king, and the fire-wielding wizard save Adam and Guy before they succumb to their wounds? It was looking like all hope was lost, so Guy raced inside to reach the Horm of Helm Hammerhand. After the horn’s keeper ran out to join the fight, Yolo suddenly appeared and blew the horn himself, though the hobbit was looking worryingly gaunt. Outside, many in Rohan’s army were inspired by the horn and fought harder, but the orcs still managed to blast part of the wall, which sent Adam flying. On the field, Éowyn and Daenerys Targaryen traded killing blows, and Tyler and GanDelf tried to rush back to the wall with Éowyn’s helm, hoping to inspire the archers to continue fighting. After some early success in the battle at Helm’s Deep, the Fellowgroup suffered some setbacks. On the battlefield, Tyler tried to convince the Dothraki to stand down, but they didn’t understand him, and GanDelf spoke inspirational nonsense to Éowyn as she continued to duel the rider. Atop the wall, Guy and archers struggled to hit anything at all, a wave of orcs breached the top, and Adam unintentionally sent the ballista brigade to their ends at the hands of enemies who were actually trained in melee combat. As hope faded, Guy raced to the horn of Helm Hammerhand, but will the figure holding him at spearpoint let him blow the legendary horn? As the battle at Helm’s Deep dragged on, the Fellowgroup found some luck up on the wall. Adam’s ballista operators worked efficiently and got their shots off quickly, while Guy took a risk to fire off flaming arrows at the ladders and destroyed all of them but one. Down on the field, Tyler and Éowyn duelled with Khal Drogo and the dragon rider, striking them, and taking even harder hits in return, but the tide turned when GanDelf spoke inspiring words to Tyler and he dealt a killing blow to the Khal. The Fellowgroup has triumphed over their immediate foes, but can they contain the wave of orcs about to breach the wall? The Fellowgroup and Rohan’s army struggled to find their targets and remain upright. With GanDelf’s staff lighting up their foes, Guy ordered the archers to loose their arrows and Adam organized the ballista operators to reorient their weapons. On the field, Tyler and Éowyn began to duel with Khal Drogo and the dragon rider. GanDelf tried to help by hurling acid and ended up falling off the wall, but she fought off her would-be captor with fire and a well-placed arrow from Guy. The battle is still outside the Wall for now, but can the ballistas take care of the orcs’ ladders before the defenses of Helm’s Deep are breached? With the battle of Helm’s Deep underway, the Fellowgroup enacted their defense plans. Adam’s blasting-powder-tipped arrows found their target in the dragon’s fiery mouth, wounding the beast and causing its rider to plummet to the ground. As a figure looking strikingly similar to Jason Momoa rode toward the rider, Guy ordered the archers to attack, guided by the light from GanDelf’s staff. Meanwhile, Éowyn told Tyler that if Théoden died, the spirit of Rohan would die with him, so Tyler had to make a mad dash to Théoden and talk him into retreating back inside. Will the retreat of the dragon be enough to turn the tide of battle in Rohan’s favour? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee.
