Classic Hits Oldies 90s

Magic Music is a New Zealand-based radio station that specializes in a classic oldies format, focusing specifically on the musical eras of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The station’s programming is built around a playlist of heritage tracks and era-defining artists, ranging from the foundations of rock and roll to the pop and folk-rock hits of the mid-century. By concentrating on these specific decades, the broadcast provides a consistent chronological sound that captures the evolution of popular music from the early transistor radio era through the height of the vinyl age.

The content is designed to offer a nostalgic and melodic listening experience, prioritizing well-known hits and timeless compositions. The station intentionally excludes 1980s tracks and more contemporary genres to ensure the broadcast remains dedicated to the historical sounds of its core period. This format serves listeners looking for a stream of familiar, legacy music that maintains a steady and upbeat tone, serving as a dedicated digital archive for the artists and songs that shaped the mid-20th-century musical landscape.
